This hotel is the best! The rooms are wonderful plenty of room. The beds are very comfortable. Great location! And we cannot say enough about the breakfast. Two of the most hard-working people are Dennis, the waffle King, and Peggy. They work as a team and they have everything that you could ever want for a breakfast! Dennis, makes sure you have everything that you need for breakfast and if it’s not there, he will make sure to go and get it for you. Also, we want to give a big shout out to Steve and Sarah on the front desk! They were so kind to us when we wanted to stay an extra few days and they accommodated us with no problem. And also Donna, head of housekeeping, has a wonderful staff!!

Maricella and Amber were amazing! The first day of our trip, Maricella went out of her way to offer to bus our table and then offered places to see in the area. After finding out we were going to go to the beach, she said that they had a tool for finding shark teeth and went all the way to the other hotel across the street to get it. She really lit up our trip and was happy to see us every morning when we came to breakfast. It was a phenomenal trip!
We only spent one night here passing through. The hotel was clean and the bathroom was newly updated. The reason I am writing this review is for the waffle king Dennis at breakfast. He made sure all of the food was hot and refilled and everyone had everything they needed. Dennis was so kind to my children. He helped my son make his waffle with so much patience. While they were making the waffle he found out my son was interested in shark teeth. 5 min later Dennis came out with a bag of teeth for my kids to share. My kids were so excited! Thank you Dennis for such a lovely breakfast at the hotel.
Everyone was very friendly and pleasant to work with. As a pet friendly hotel, everything was so clean and manicured. Waffle King made our breakfast extra special. Dennis greeted everyone with a big smile and a Good Morning. I highly recommend TownePlace Suites by Marriott.
Excellent place to stay! The room was clean and well appointed with everything you'll need. The staff was super friendly and professional. Sarah at the front desk is a consummate pro and attended to all our needs. And a special shout out to Dennis & Peggy Sue who made sure the breakfast buffet was always stocked, and hot and fresh. And my dog Sadie was treated with respect (see photo), and was very happy. I highly recommend this hotel whenever you are in Venice Florida.
I was surprised at how kind and friendly the staff were. Our room was in excellent condition, everything was clean. The front desk staff was very welcoming. And Marcella and Jayme in the breakfast area were really helpful (and it was a really nice breakfast!).
